The first two buildings have been completely restored at St Osyth Priory, being the Toll Barn and Bailiff's Cottage which date back to 13th Century and are Grade II* listed. The restoration works started in August 2016 and on the 4th of July 2017 the local community were invited in to see the final result.
Chairman of the St Osyth Priory and Parish Trust, George Clarke commented:
"I am always pushing standards on restoration projects but what the guys have achieved in there is outstanding, the quality is second-to-none!"
If you were unable to make the event get in touch and register for the Walking Tours for another opportunity to see inside.
